Carrie qualified in Oil Painting Conservation in Italy and the UK and worked extensively as an Old Master Painting Restorer and Curator across continents, including the Jardine Matheson Collection in Hong Kong, and the Bob Jones University Museum in South Carolina. For twelve years she worked in museums, for private and corporate collectors and galleries specialising in Old Masters.
Following her return to London in 2006 she continued her quest for knowledge by studying Contemporary Art at Christies Education, London and Interior Design at the prestigious KLC School of Design in Chelsea. This led to a position as a senior Art Advisor at International Art Consultants in London, the leading Corporate Art Consultancy in the UK. Throughout her time at International Art Consultants, she worked tirelessly with numerous ultra-demanding blue-chip corporations helping her clients build extensive art collections, and has also commissioned multiple large-scale works of art. Clients have included Morgan Stanley, Barclays Wealth, Baker McKenzie, Fidessa and Stemcor, to name but a few.
As well as her Art Advisory, Carrie has also been focusing on curating exhibitions. ‘Time, Suspended’, in 2020 brought together artwork by 12 female artists whose work best ‘captured the moment’ we were all living through. And more recently, she has co-curated a large-scale retrospective of work by the artist Pierre Dunoyer at the Musée d’Art Moderne de Paris.
Carrie speaks six European languages, travels extensively for work, and is available to discuss potential projects globally.
